Since its inception, the Washington Health Foundation (WHF) has
given more than $11 million in grants to fund health improvement
in Washington State.
In 2007, Healthiest State Grants are available in Major
Grants and Mini Grants. The
grant program aims to encourage community-based initiatives that
contribute toward making Washington the Healthiest State in the
Nation. While WHF's grant programs have traditionally been focused
on Washington's rural communities, a small amount of Mini Grant
funding will be available to "non-rural" projects.
